Long Term Mission Work

We here at GWI believe in the old "teach the man to fish" story. Although we do many things in terms of charitable gifts, it is not enough to just give to a need. People must be empowered, educated, given responsibility and clear vision in order to truly take control of their lives. We work with many different groups (see our fellow initiators page) in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Portugal and Northern Africa bringing the life of Christ and His kingdom to the nations in which we are called!

Our mission is to impart a long term outlook for individuals, families and communities. We encourage others to become initiators of truth, love and worship in their immediate surroundings while also understanding that the things we do today directly effect the way life is lived tomorrow! 

Short Term Missions

Every year in July we co-host a short term mission trip to Nicaragua in conjunction with Grow Nicaragua and we partner with Nicaragua Mission: Family Building Family building relationship and working bit by bit towards establishing His Kingdom in the communities we are involved with. We have been heading up this specific trip since 1999 and visiting some of the locations since 1989! We work hard and have fun, worshiping with our words and deeds the whole time!!!
