Faithful Pioneer

I wander where the wind blows
I’m following where He goes
I seek to know what He knos alone

Down lanes through rolling meadows
Or winding paths through shadows
Each day another tree grows like His own

I’m following the Faithful Pioneer
A surge of strength comes every time I hear
I have gone before you do not fear
The way to resurrection life is clear

Now I’ve been apprehended
My selfish ways amended
My sentence is suspended from the throne

Before Him I was hollow
Now I only want to follow
To make the risen life He knows my own
